Jim Evans
is the founder and president of JK Evans & Associates LLC. During his successful 28-year consulting career, Jim has assisted hundreds of private businesses, non-profit agencies, and other public-sector organizations, throughout Ohio. In addition to his strong entrepreneurial skills and experience as a business leader, Jim brings years of actual management and HR experience to assist employers as they face today's challenging and rapidly changing business environment.

Jim is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He has taken master level coursework and advanced training in job analysis, compensation, employee assessment, and labor relations. Jim is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), the highest honor awarded through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Certification demonstrates expertise in human resource management including compensation & benefits, employee selection and placement, management practices, labor relations, health & safety, training and organizational development. He currently instructs other HR professionals who are seeking certification. 

Jim donates his time and expertise as Chairman of the Personnel Committee for the Board of Directors of  The United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan Counties. Jim is active in many other local community organizations and is a Past-President of the Muskingum Valley Human Resource Management Association.  

Jane Evans
joined the firm as a Management Consultant after a twenty-year career in bank management and human resources. Jane is a results-oriented HR generalist with a wealth of practical experience in all facets of business. Her expertise includes hiring, training, performance evaluation and customer service. She has a Bachelor's of Business Administration Degree and has achieved the SPHR certification through the Society for Human Resource Management.

Jane has responsibility for client project management and development, including the conduct of organizational assessments, management training, wage and benefit surveys, policy development, and research. Jane is active in many local community organizations, including Treasurer of the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce.  She serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors of  The Eastside Community Ministry, Inc., and is past president of the Muskingum Valley Human Resource Management Association.

Tara Wilson  
joined JK Evans & Associates LLC in 2003 as a Human Resources Generalist after five years in the HR field with personnel recruiting and staffing experience.  She quickly advanced to an HR Consultant with the firm where she is responsible for policy manual development and maintenance, compensation, position descriptions, performance evaluations, affirmative action plans, and client development.  

Tara earned her Bachelor's of Art degree from Marietta College with a major in Human Resource Management and a minor in Psychology.  She has completed the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has participated in training courses and seminars including employee selection, worker’s compensation, wage and hour, employee relations, HIPAA compliance, communications and management principles and practices. 

 Tara is an active member of the Muskingum Valley Human Resource Management Association (a local SHRM chapter) and serves as the Chair of the Awards and Recognition Committee. Tara is a recent graduate of Leadership Muskingum, a local program designed to develop community leaders.
